Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website and to purchases made through our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

This website and online store are operated by [BUSINESS NAME] (“we”, “us” or “our”).

Business details:

Trading name: Collectors Trove

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce viruses or other malicious material, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of another person.

We may suspend or restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

3. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device and display settings. Product packaging may also vary from images shown.

Measurements, dimensions and other specifications may be approximate where indicated.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.

Prices will include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed during checkout before you confirm your order.

We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.

If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a genuine error, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order.

5. Placing an Order

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms.

After you place an order, we may send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A binding contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, such as by sending an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation, depending on our checkout process.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before acceptance, including where:

  • A product is unavailable.

  • We cannot authorise or verify payment.

  • There has been an obvious pricing or product information error.

  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

  • We cannot deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount due.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud-prevention checks.

7. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges will be shown during checkout or elsewhere on our website.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay and will communicate with you where appropriate.

Your statutory rights in relation to delivery are not affected by these Terms.

8. Checking Your Delivery

We recommend inspecting your goods and their packaging promptly after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate the damage and, where appropriate, raise a claim with the courier.

When reporting goods that have been damaged in transit, we may ask you to provide:

  • Your order number.

  • Clear photographs of the damaged goods.

  • Clear photographs of the outer packaging.

  • Photographs showing any visible damage to the packaging.

  • Photographs of internal packaging where relevant.

  • A photograph of the delivery or courier label where available.

Please retain the damaged goods and all packaging until we have reviewed your report, as these may be required as evidence for a courier claim.

The 48-hour reporting request does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to your contract. Failure to report damage within 48 hours does not remove any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.

9. Your Right to Cancel

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel an online order within the cancellation period provided by applicable UK consumer law.

For most eligible goods, this will generally allow you to notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to applicable exclusions.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods within the applicable legal return period.

Certain products may be excluded from cancellation rights or subject to specific conditions, including certain personalised, bespoke, perishable or sealed goods where the applicable legal requirements are met.

Please see our Returns Policy for instructions on making a return.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory cancellation rights.

10. Returns Following a Change of Mind

Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel, goods should be returned in accordance with our Returns Policy.

You are permitted to handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We may be entitled to make a deduction from a refund where the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining the goods in a shop, to the extent permitted by law.

Unless we state otherwise or applicable law requires us to pay them, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.

11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

We have a legal obligation to supply goods that conform to the contract, including applicable requirements concerning satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and description.

If goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us with your order details and information about the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.

Nothing in our Returns Policy or these Terms limits your statutory rights.

12. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we will process it using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law.

Refunds will be made within the applicable legal time limits.

Original delivery costs will be refunded where required by law. Additional delivery charges resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method may not be refundable where permitted by law.

13. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We may withdraw products, change product specifications or limit quantities available for purchase.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, cancel the affected item and issue a refund.

14. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to additional terms.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Only one promotional code may be used per order.

  • Promotions may have an expiry date.

  • Promotions may exclude certain products or categories.

  • We may withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary.

We may reject the use of a discount or promotional code where we reasonably believe it has been obtained, distributed or used fraudulently or contrary to the applicable promotion terms.

15. Accounts

If our website allows you to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for providing accurate account information.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that are being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material breach of these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website, including text, branding, graphics, photographs, designs and other materials, belongs to us or is used by us with permission.

You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial use.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or otherwise use our website content without permission except where permitted by law.

17. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to our website, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content.

You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, misleading or infringing material.

We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or applicable law.

18. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services, including payment processors and delivery providers.

We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not operate. Your use of those services may also be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that we cannot legally exclude.

19. Our Responsibility to You

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot otherwise be excluded under applicable consumer law.

If you are a consumer, we supply products for private and domestic use. We are generally not responsible for business losses arising from your use of products for commercial purposes where such losses were not contemplated as part of our contract with you.

20. Privacy and Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, store and protect personal information.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable law.

The Terms applying to your purchase will generally be those in effect when your order is placed, subject to any changes required by law.

The latest version will be published on our website.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

23. No Waiver

If we delay enforcing any provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

24. Governing Law

If you are a consumer, these Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law that applies where you live.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from benefiting from mandatory consumer protections or bringing proceedings in a court where you are legally entitled to do so.

Consumer Rights

These Terms are intended to operate alongside your statutory consumer rights and do not replace or restrict those rights. Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory right provided by applicable consumer law, the applicable consumer law will take priority.
